The BMW FB02 is a rare factory-built 1171cc inline-four engine developed by BMW Motorsport for the Formula BMW FB02 race car. Based on the legendary K1200 engine platform, it was engineered for exceptional performance, durability, and continuous high-RPM operation under racing conditions.

Each brand-new FB02 engine is supplied complete with:

• Hall sensor (K1200)
• Engine temperature sensor
• Complete throttle body assembly
• Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
• Complete oil/water pump assembly

Required Modifications

To install the FB02 engine into a BMW K1, K100 16V, or K1100, the following original components must be transferred:

• Hall sensor
• Starter sprag clutch
• Complete clutch assembly
• Clutch bellhousing

No internal engine modifications are required. Once these components have been transferred, the engine is compatible with the original K-series drivetrain.
