Product Description

This early-type plastic fuel level sensor is designed for BMW K100 models and controls the low fuel warning light on the instrument cluster.

Unlike later float-type senders, this sensor uses thermistor technology to detect fuel level. When the fuel drops below a set point, the sensor activates the warning light, giving you a reliable reserve indication while riding.

Correct installation and orientation are essential for accurate operation.

Installation & Orientation

• Always install with a good O-ring, lightly lubricated

• Insert the sensor carefully into the fuel tank opening

• The arrow on the bottom of the sensor must point forward, in the direction of travel (toward the front wheel)

• Tighten the retaining nut hand-tight only

  ⚠️ Do not overtighten — plastic components can crack or deform
